The Stoneygate Eye Hospital was very welcoming, both by the staff and the general appearance of the place.  The facilities in the waiting area were excellent. The Cataract replacement I had done recently at the Stoneygate Eye hospital went smoothly from start to finish, their approach was professional in every aspect concerning the procedure from the warm welcome from the administration staff, nurses and consultants/Dr's who put me at ease. I have visited the hospital twice , the first time for a procedure, the second for a follow up meeting.  I was feeling rather nervous the first time, but need not have worried.  Staff were kind, reassuring and professional, and immediately put me at ease. The procedure was straightforward and successful, and I am delighted with the result. I had my cataract operation on my right eye 9 dec.2020 . I am very happy and satisfied with the treatment I had and would recommend anyone who needs this operation to use the eye clinic at Stoneygate Leicester. Took my elderly father today for Cataract surgery. He was in a wheelchair. All the staff were lovely,
caring, kind and very accommodating to us both. Nothing was too much trouble. The hospital was clean, tidy and bright. Plenty of parking spaces. Everything was clearly explained and went like clockwork. Extremely pleased. Would highly recommend to anybody needing Cataract surgery. I was so nervous about this, but won't be the next time.
This is a very nice bright, modern clinic.
I can't wait to have my other eye seen to now. So wish I had pushed for it sooner.

I recently attended The Stoneygate Eye Hospital for cataract surgery. From the first phone call following my referral, to the surgery itself and to the after care I received I cannot praise the nursing, surgical and admin staff highly enough. There is a calm, friendly and caring atmosphere within the hospital and a real sense of team work. Any questions I had were answered fully and clearly. In the present Covid situation I was impressed by the attention given to keeping everyone safe.

After many weeks of anxious waiting, the day came 2 weeks ago to have my cataract surgery. Was delighted with not just the experience (speed, environment) but also the immediate realisation that I could see very clearly immediately afterwards. A big thank you to the whole team. I recently went private to have lumps removed from each of my eyelids. From consultation to surgery to post surgery was excellent my Surgeon, Mrs Antonella Berry Brincat was kind, caring, gentle and the whole procedure was painless. Her Team and the rest of the staff were also fantastic. A special thank you to Penny who I spoke to initially on the phone and who made a point of coming to chat and reassure me at every appointment, even though it isn’t really her job.
