Your Cataract Surgery Pathway
1. Speak to your optician and get a referral to the NHS for Cataract treatment.
2. When the NHS booking office calls you, ask to be referred to The Stoneygate Eye Hospital.
3. When your referral has been received, we will call you to ask some brief questions and arrange a telephone pre-assessment.
4. After attending your Cataract Surgery, at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital, you will be discharged
with all the necessary drops and instructions. We are available for any post-op concerns here at
Stoneygate.
5. You will need to return to your optician for a post-operative check-up 4-6 weeks after your surgery.
